Steve Walker

Born in Toronto, raised in the GTA, Steve Walker is an avid athlete who plays hockey, football, golf and more. He achieved academic awards in high school with an affinity for science. Steve attended University of Toronto studying Biochemistry but then left to pursue his interest in business. Steve started several small businesses before settling into the world of IT in 1992.  

Steve’s skill is matching specific business needs with relevant technology. Steve is an excellent communicator who will explain complex IT issues in language that can be understood. He listens, understands and provides well developed recommendations for customers unique IT needs, and is adept at empowering his staff so that the final deliverables are expertly executed.  

Julian Molyneux

Born in the UK Julian immigrated to Canada at an early age, growing up in the Kawartha Lakes region. Julian enjoyed various sports activities over the years including, Skiing, Kiteboarding, Music, Electronics, Motorcycle Racing and Flying. He discovered an aptitude for computers in high school and pursued this interest into an early career in programming and post secondary Education at Trent University in Peterborough.  

Julian founded a custom programming / computer business and this experience led to pursuing networking in the larger market of the GTA. At the turn of the millennium Julian recognized the matching and complimentary technical and business skill set with Steve. He was fortunate enough to be in a position to co-found and develop MWI into an organization focused on serving the IT needs of the Greater Toronto Area and beyond.  

History

20 years after Julian and Steve founded MWI, by combining their complimentary skill set, MWI has grown into a respected IT Services company with 9 employees and clients encompassing many industry sectors. Growth has been primarily organic through referrals and by ensuring that the right people are in place to effectively service our customer base.
